The Department of Primary Industries (DPI) required a revamp of the homepage. Currently it does not meet the Whole of Victorian Government (WoVG) accessibility guidelines. Design refresh, meets accessibility, contains new features such as calendar, directs to video library and social media pages.

DPI Game Hunting Mobile App

The Game Hunting app contains useful information from the 2012 Victorian Hunting Guide for game hunters who hunt duck, quail and deer.

App features include: GPS - directs you to the nearest or nominated State Game Reserve; Hunt Mode - lets you know what you can hunt, when you can hunt and how long you have left to hunt; detailed information and clear illustrations on all major Victorian game species including sample duck calls; Silent Mode (for android) - switches phone to silent so it doesn't ring while hunting

Kapeesh Game App

Kapeesh is a word game available for download on iPhone and Android devices.
Convince your friends to guess the answer on your Word Card by typing a clue without using any of the taboo words. Take it in turns to write and answer each other's clues and see how many correct answers you can get in a row.
(Currently going through a re-skin)

Applications

Resource Rights Allocation and Management (RRAM)

RRAM is a flagship project that will replace disparate and outdated IT systems for fisheries licensing and earth resources tenements management with a new integrated, secure and maintainable departmental resource allocation and management system.

I came onboard later in the project cycle to provide usability testing, consultation, and redesign the public/client-facing UI.

Benefit Cost Analysis Tool (BCA)

A web reporting tool that is used by scientists and agricultural research and extension staff to quickly access data relating to cost-benefit analysis, to assist with their project proposals.

This design is responsive - optimised to be viewed on all devices.

Time and Activity Allocation System (TAAS)

TAAS is a web based program designed to improve the way DPI records time spent on activities. TAAS has been set up to make the recording of time spent on activities, projects and general administrative functions easier.

Due to the ease of use and benefits to the organisation, TAAS is now being rolled out to other divisions in DPI.

Evaluation and Performance Monitoring Framework (EPMF)

EPMF is a Framework which integrates all of DPI's evaluation and reporting information at multiple levels for multiple purposes.

Online Orientation Program

Online Orientation Program (e-learning / LMS)

DPI's Online Orientation Program has been designed to welcome all new starters, including contractors and short-term staff. The program covers DPI's values and organisational structure, key information about getting started in DPI and where to go for assistance.
